Title: Director of Diagnostic Imaging

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Diagnostic Imaging to lead daily operations, clinical quality, staffing, and regulatory compliance across a comprehensive Medical Imaging Department in Atlantis, Florida.

This is an excellent leadership opportunity for an imaging professional with a strong background in radiology operations, team development, patient flow, quality assurance, and multimodality imaging services. The successful candidate will oversee imaging supervisors, optimize departmental performance, maintain high standards of patient care, and ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.

The Director will work closely with executive leadership and clinical teams to support efficient operations, exceptional patient experiences, and the delivery of safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Location: Atlantis, FL 33462

Work Setting: On-site hospital leadership

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday; no weekends

Required Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Three to five years of management experience within a radiology or diagnostic imaging department required.
• Experience overseeing multiple imaging modalities and supervising clinical or technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience with staffing, scheduling, workflow optimization, equipment maintenance, quality control, and departmental performance improvement.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and applicable federal and Florida healthcare regulations.
• Experience collaborating with physicians, nursing leadership, hospital administrators, and other clinical stakeholders.
