Sr. Payroll Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Payroll Analyst to support accurate and compliant payroll operations for a large employee population in Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a payroll specialist who thrives in a high-volume environment and brings deep knowledge of multi-state payroll administration. The role will focus on end-to-end payroll processing, issue resolution, and maintaining data accuracy while partnering with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle payroll activities for a large workforce, ensuring timely and precise processing from data review through final payroll confirmation.
• Administer payroll for employees across multiple states while applying applicable wage, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Use ADP Workforce Now to maintain payroll records, validate entries, and support efficient payroll execution.
• Audit payroll data regularly to identify discrepancies, correct errors, and improve overall accuracy.
• Partner with HR, finance, and other internal teams to resolve payroll-related questions, exceptions, and employee concerns.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliation details to support internal review, compliance needs, and operational decision-making.
• Monitor deductions, earnings, tax withholdings, and other payroll components to ensure proper setup and processing.
• Support payroll-related process updates, including operational changes or system-related activities, as needed within the payroll function.• Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll processing in a high-volume environment.
• Strong background managing multi-state payroll with knowledge of relevant payroll regulations and tax considerations.
• Experience processing payroll for employee populations exceeding 500 individuals.
• Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
• Solid understanding of payroll auditing, reconciliation, and issue resolution practices.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in deadline-driven payroll operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and address payroll inquiries professionally.
