RN Labor & Delivery -(New Graduate or Non-BSN RN) - Permanent Position

Location: Liberal, Kansas
Employment Type: Permanent Placement
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Pay Rate: Starting at $37.85/hr (New Graduate or Non-BSN RN) | $39.36/hr (BSN RN) + Experience-Based Differentials

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during all phases of care.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum recovery.
• Care for newborns in normal nursery and special care nursery settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, OB/GYN providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Nurse-to-Patient Ratios

• Active Labor: 1:1
• Latent Labor: 2:1
• Postpartum/Couplet Care: 3:1
  

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• Fetal Monitoring Certification (May be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred
  

Schedule & Requirements

• 12-Hour Night Shifts
• Every Other Weekend Required
• Every Other Holiday Required
• Float to MS4, ICU, ER, and Skilled Nursing Units as needed
