Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a high school student for the 2026–2027 school year. As a dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse, you will work closely with a male high school student, providing essential nursing care throughout his educational day—including accompanying him on transportation to and from school. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 2027, with a weekly schedule of 35 to 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a background in school nursing or pediatric care
• Experience providing direct 1:1 care, especially in educational or youth settings
• Ability to assist with all aspects of personal care and hygiene for students with significant health needs
• Comfortable administering emergency seizure medication (training on specific meds provided; seizures are rare)
• Willing to travel on the school bus with the student as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with school staff and transportation personnel

Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, compassionate daily health care to the assigned high school student
• Assist with all personal care and hygiene throughout the school day
• Ride the bus to and from school, ensuring the student’s safety and readiness to respond to medical needs
• Administer prescribed emergency seizure medication if required
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with school personnel and the student’s family
• Adapt and respond quickly to any changes in health status or routine
