Immediately seeking Fabricators for a structural steel shop in the Bandera, TX area. Pay is up to $28/hr. depending on experience. Please call/text 210-664-2680
Duties:
- Read drawings and fabrication plans to determine dimensions, materials, cuts, and assembly.
- Measure and lay out steel accurately before cutting or welding.
- Cut steel and other metal using appropriate shop equipment.
- Fit and assemble steel components before welding.
- Grind, clean, and finish welds
- Follow welding, fabrication, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Work as part of a shop fabrication crew and meet project deadlines
- Large-scale structural steel fabrication
- Measuring with a tape measure, square, level, etc.
- Steel layout
- Plasma/oxy-fuel cutting
Requirements:
- Seeking at least 2 years shop fabrication experience
- Fabrication, grinding, cutting, and welding experience
- Ability to work in an open-air shop as well at outside in the shop yard
