Night Shift Differential: $4/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced, free-standing emergency department. The RN will utilize the nursing process, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect comprehensive health information.
• Analyze assessment findings to identify patient needs and nursing diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Maintain and enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow professional nursing standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient safety and report medical errors or unexpected adverse outcomes.
• Support colleagues through teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.
• Incorporate evidence-based research into clinical practice.
• Perform unit-specific duties and float to other units as required by business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of recent acute care ER RN experience, within the last year.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution required.
• Current Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure required.
