Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an inpatient renal unit serving a population that includes Chronic Kidney Disease, Acute Kidney Injury, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and general Medical Surgical patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, delivering safe and effective care across assigned patients
• Document all patient care activities and clinical data accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float to other campus locations as needed to support staffing requirements
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned (non-billable; average 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Telemetry experience required; must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient renal or nephrology setting
• Familiarity with caring for ESRD and Acute Kidney Injury patient populations
• Experience floating across multiple units or campus locations
