Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Location

Flowood, MS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, alternating weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care setting
• Manage a patient assignment within a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical notes using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and compliance standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR is required
• Must have a permanent address located at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must be available to start within 2 weeks of offer; projected start date is September 28, 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Comfort with alternating weekend schedules and flexible shift demands
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
