Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4 to 6
• Assess, triage, and manage a diverse ED patient population across the full acuity spectrum
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Participate in every other weekend rotation as expected by unit scheduling needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Maine or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI or MOAB certification required — must be obtained prior to start date
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with standard ED education modules and protocols
• Prior travel nursing experience
