Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care inpatient oncology/medical-surgical setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient condition, progress, and response to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility holiday scheduling requirements, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an inpatient oncology environment
• Familiarity with acute care workflows and documentation systems
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
