Job Details:\n
\n• Serve as Covering Medical Director for the Acute Rehabilitation Unit\n
\n• Collaborate with the Medical Director, Program Director and entire clinical team\n
\n• Provide medical direction in conformance with facility policies and procedures\n
\n• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations\n
\n• Work within Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines\n
\n• Maintain Joint Commission standards and requirements\n
\n• Support comprehensive rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy\n
\n• Work with interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists\n
\n• Focus on individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and daily functioning\n
\n• Help patients achieve highest level of independence and successful transition back to home and community\n
\n• Independent contractor status with flexible scheduling\n
\n• Access to latest technology and best in class compliance team\n
\n• Training and support provided in collaborative team environment\n
