Pay: $89,610 to $105,060 per year, plus hiring bonus

Must-Haves

\n

\n
• Current New York State RN license
\n
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nurse program
\n
• 2+ years of nursing or long-term care experience
\n
• Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
\n
• Familiarity with NYS Department of Health requirements
\n
• Knowledge of quality improvement and performance evaluation
\n
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and staff
\n
• Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
\n

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the long-term care and rehabilitation unit
\n
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, CNA trainees, and unit clerks
\n
• Allocate staffing and resources effectively
\n
• Ensure compliance with NYS DOH regulations and organizational policies
\n
• Lead quality improvement initiatives using data to identify unit needs
\n
• Coordinate care across nursing and interdisciplinary teams
\n
• Recruit, orient, educate, and retain nursing staff
\n
• Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development
\n
• Promote evidence-based practice, teamwork, and a resident-focused culture
\n

• BSN or MSN
\n
• Previous charge nurse, supervisory, or nurse management experience
\n
• Meditech or other EMR experience
\n
• Skilled nursing or transitional rehab experience
\n
