CDR ProSource is seeking a reliable and experienced Bilingual Forklift Operator for a position in Port Allen, LA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on forklift operating experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. This role involves handling, transporting, and organizing heavy materials and steel components in an industrial metal processing environment.

- Position: Bilingual Forklift Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize materials and steel components.
- Transport heavy materials throughout the facility while following established safety procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and positioning materials for production.
- Inspect forklifts before operation and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Ensure materials are properly secured, stacked, and stored.
- Support daily production and material-handling operations.
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish with supervisors and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow company safety regulations and perform additional warehouse or production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Experience handling heavy materials, steel products, or industrial equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and material-handling practices.
- Ability to safely maneuver forklifts in busy industrial environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable attendance, teamwork, and good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
