Ambassador Medical Day Care in Lakewood, NJ, is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Patient Care Assistant / Caregiver to join our team!

We provide a warm, welcoming environment for adults and seniors who attend our daytime program. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, has a caring personality, and takes pride in making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily personal care needs, including toileting, hygiene, and mobility.

• Provide hands-on assistance and supervision to ensure participant comfort and safety.

• Help participants during meals and daily activities.

• Encourage social interaction and participation in recreational programs.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

• Work closely with nursing staff and other team members to provide quality care.

• Treat all participants with kindness, patience, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or adult day care preferred.

• Compassionate, patient, and friendly personality.

• Dependable, responsible, and punctual.

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

• Comfortable assisting seniors and adults with personal care needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
