At The Preserve, a Cardinal Senior Living community, we’re looking for compassionate, dependable Medication Technicians who take pride in doing things the right way.

This role is for someone who enjoys caring for others, stays organized under pressure, and understands that medication support is about more than passing pills. It is about safety, trust, consistency, and knowing the residents you serve.

What You’ll Do

As a Med Tech at The Preserve, you’ll help support safe, consistent resident care throughout your shift.

You’ll:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
• Accurately document medication administration and treatments
• Communicate with pharmacy regarding refills, changes, and discrepancies
• Complete narcotic counts and required medication documentation
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, personal care, and other daily needs
• Observe residents and report changes in condition or concerns
• Assist with incident reporting and care coordination
• Maintain a clean, safe, and resident-centered environment
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers
• Support light household tasks including laundry, cleaning, and meal-related duties

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• At least 18 years old
• Certified Medication Aide/Medication Technician credential
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation
• Dependability, compassion, and good judgment

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification
• Previous senior living, long-term care, or healthcare experience
• Valid driver’s license
