Abundant Solutions is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an established industrial operation in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. We are looking for skilled welders with strong technical abilities, quality workmanship, and the hands-on experience necessary to pass a challenging welding test.
If you have experience welding heavy-wall pipe and can demonstrate proficiency in TIG and stick welding, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Perform high-quality pipe welding on heavy-wall pipe.
- Complete TIG root/stringer and hot-pass welding, followed by stick welding for fill and cap passes as required by the weld procedure.
- Perform uphill MIG and flux-core welding on structural components.
- Read and interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings as needed.
- Prepare materials, fit joints, and complete welds to required quality standards.
- Inspect completed welds and maintain a clean, safe, and productive work area.
- Follow all applicable welding, safety, and quality requirements.
Required Welding Test
Candidates must successfully pass a hands-on welding test appropriate to the position.
Pipe Welding Test:
- 2-inch super coupon on heavy-wall pipe.
- TIG stringer/root pass and hot pass.
- Stick welding for fill and cap passes, as specified by the test procedure.
Structural Welding:
- Uphill MIG and flux-core welding.
Applicants should have recent, hands-on experience with the welding processes required for their desired position. Welding experience alone is not enough; candidates must demonstrate the necessary skill level during testing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial pipe welding and/or structural welding.
- Ability to pass the required welding test.
- Knowledge of proper welding techniques, joint preparation, and weld quality.
- Ability to follow welding procedures and work safely in an industrial environment.
- Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime.
- Ability to work on your feet and perform the physical demands of an industrial welding position.
Pay & Schedule
- $25–$35+ per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated welding ability.
- Day shift.
- 50+ hours per week, offering consistent overtime opportunities.
