EHS Specialist

About the Role:
REELSAFE SAFETY LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented EHS Specialist to join our team in Fremont, CA. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate risks
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and California-specific EHS regulations including Cal/OSHA standards
• Deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks to employees at all levels
• Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and regulatory documentation
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills
• Partner with operations and management teams to promote a proactive safety culture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an EHS Specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA regulations
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
• Excellent communication and training facilitation skills
• Proficiency in maintaining EHS management systems and compliance documentation
• CSP, CHMM, or other relevant EHS certification is a plus
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and committed to continuous improvement
