Quality Control Technician - TX

Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician will develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a program to ensure the organization’s production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform Quality Signoffs on Production work to ensure they meet customer specification and standard.

Work closely with production management to eliminate waste within the manufacturing process and to pinpoint instances of quality concern.

Work closely with management and operators to create/maintain standard of work processes for production.

Inspects and leads corrective resolutions including developing Root Cause Corrective Actions that will be presented to the customer and employees responsible for the issue.

Works with Production Management to return products to suppliers for credit. Will include initiating and completing Problem Material Forms.

Suggests edits to existing procedures as needed to deliver on expected quality.

Monitor Production as it occurs ensuring that standards are kept throughout runs.

Assist in the development and implementation of QC features in our manufacturing processes.

Oversee MRA process from initial complaint through resolution. Hub Spot is software that is used to document and follow up on all issues.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent computer skills, including MS office.

Experience creating and updating procedures, writing RCCA to present to customers.

Strong communication skills, including the ability to converse with customers either through email, telephone, or face to face communication.

Responsible and trustworthy

Experience with Flexographic and digital printing process.

Education and Experience:

4+ years of proven manufacturing experience experience as a quality inspector, Supervisor or Production/Plant Manager

Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
