Pediatric Private Duty RN - Days & Weekend Nights - Water Valley

PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Water Valley, MS.

We currently have weekday day shifts and weekend night shifts available, offering opportunities for nurses looking for consistent daytime hours, 12-hour weekend nights, or a combination of available shifts.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Water Valley, MS
Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN
Shifts Available: Weekday Days & Weekend Nights
Scheduling: Flexible scheduling based on available shifts and patient coverage needs

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Weekday Day Shifts – Monday–Friday

• 7:00 AM–3:30 PM OR 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
  

• Consistent weekday coverage available

Weekend Night Shifts – Friday–Sunday

• 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 1-year-old pediatric patient in the comfort of his home.

Clinical needs include:

• G-tube feedings and care

• Medication administration

• Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring

• Assistance with ADLs and age-appropriate care

The assigned RN will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, skilled intervention, and individualized support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

• Administer G-tube feedings and provide G-tube care as ordered

• Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions

• Assist with activities of daily living and age-appropriate care

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi

• Current BLS certification

• Current TB screening within the past 12 months

• Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Pediatric, private duty, or G-tube experience is a plus

WEEKDAY DAYS OR 12-HOUR WEEKEND NIGHTS. ONE PATIENT. ONE-ON-ONE CARE.
