Wilhelm is seeking dependable, safety-focused individuals to join our team as Union Traffic Control Flaggers. This position is represented by Local 1245 and offers an opportunity to build a rewarding career in the traffic control industry while helping protect workers, motorists, and pedestrians in active work zones.

  

Responsibilities

· Safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic through work zones.

· Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices, including signs, cones, drums, and barricades.

· Follow traffic control plans and all safety procedures.

· Communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and the public.

· Monitor traffic conditions and maintain a safe work environment.

· Assist with general traffic control operations as assigned.

Qualifications

· Traffic control or flagging experience preferred but not required.

· ATSSA Flagger Certification preferred.

· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical job duties.

· Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

· Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism.

· Willingness to work varying schedules, including overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
