La posición de Preparador y Empacador de Pedidos consiste en etiquetar artículos con calcomanías, inspeccionar cajas y productos, y prepararlos para su envío. El trabajo incluye el uso de cuchillas para abrir cajas y sellarlas de forma segura con cinta adhesiva.

También utilizará listas de surtido (pick tickets) y hojas de pedidos para garantizar la precisión en los envíos. Las responsabilidades incluyen tareas básicas de recepción y envío de mercancía, descarga, escaneo, movimiento, organización, carga, ubicación, reubicación y apilamiento de productos.

Además, deberá seleccionar y preparar productos para su envío, asegurándose de que se cargue la cantidad y el tipo exacto de producto solicitado. También organizará materiales o artículos en estantes, repisas o contenedores siguiendo secuencias predeterminadas como tamaño, tipo, estilo, color o código de producto. El puesto incluye ensamblar pedidos de clientes a partir del inventario disponible y trasladarlos al área de empaque o envío según las órdenes de surtido del cliente.

Responsabilidades

• Etiquetar artículos con calcomanías y verificar cajas y productos para su envío.
• Utilizar listas de surtido y hojas de pedidos para garantizar la precisión de las órdenes.
• Realizar tareas básicas de envío, recepción, descarga, escaneo, movimiento, organización, carga, ubicación, reubicación y apilamiento de productos.
• Seleccionar y preparar productos para envío, asegurando que se cargue la cantidad y el tipo correcto de producto.
• Clasificar y colocar materiales o artículos en estantes, repisas o contenedores según tamaño, tipo, estilo, color o código de producto.
• Preparar pedidos de clientes a partir del inventario y organizar los pedidos para empaque o envío.

Habilidades Esenciales

• Experiencia en la selección (picking) y/o empaque (packing) de productos.
• Experiencia etiquetando o colocando tickets en artículos o productos.
• Familiaridad con escáneres RF (radiofrecuencia) para tareas de envío y recepción.

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
