Warehouse Worker - Now Hiring

This role focuses on accurately packaging materials, preparing them for shipment, and supporting warehouse operations in a clean, climate-controlled environment. You will work closely with team members who cut materials to customer specifications, ensuring each order is correctly assembled, labeled, and ready for on-time delivery.

• Package materials according to order specifications and prepare them for shipping.
• Pull and stage the correct materials to fulfill work orders accurately.
• Coordinate with team members who cut materials to specification and receive completed items for packaging.
• Create and apply accurate shipping labels for each order.
• Support shipping activities by organizing outgoing orders and ensuring they are ready for carrier pickup.
• Assist with receiving activities as needed, including checking in and organizing incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory by handling materials carefully and placing them in designated locations.
• Follow established warehouse procedures to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
• Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Stand and move throughout the warehouse for most of the day while handling products typically under 50 lbs.

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience with warehouse inventory processes.
• Experience in shipping activities, including preparing orders for shipment.
• Experience in receiving activities, including handling incoming materials.
• Experience with packaging materials for shipment.
• Ability to accurately pull and organize materials to fulfill work orders.
• Ability to stand on your feet most of the day and handle products typically under 50 lbs.

• Willingness to learn additional tasks and responsibilities over time.
• Ability to work effectively in a somewhat loud, fast-moving warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail when labeling, packaging, and organizing materials.

This is a first-shift position in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse. Most products weigh under 50 lbs, and you will spend most of the day on your feet moving throughout the facility. The environment can be somewhat loud due to normal warehouse operations, and you will work with standard warehouse equipment and materials handling processes in a relaxed but productive setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, CT.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
