Description:

This position involves working as a maintenance technician across all aspects of Tropicana's internal Maintenance Service Company functions, supporting other Maintenance Teams and the Maintenance Regional Manager.

$14.00–$25.00 per hour, based on verifiable experience, skills, and certifications. Starting pay is set according to Tropicana’s technician skill levels. The top of the range is reserved for expert-level technicians.

This position supports all aspects of Tropicana’s internal Maintenance Service Company, working alongside other maintenance teams and the Maintenance Regional Manager. A maintenance technician must be reliable and detail-oriented, with technical knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC, and electrical work. The role also requires comfort with technology, including Excel, Word, data entry, mobile applications, and ordering materials and supplies online. Leadership skills and technological aptitude are essential given today’s advances in the maintenance industry. Our goal is to keep every property in a presentable, safe, sanitary, and sound condition. A detailed summary of required skills is below.

Position Requirements:

Requirements

• Three years of proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role is preferred
• Bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, and evaporative coolers (HVAC a plus)
• Knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, mobile applications, data entry, and the internet
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma; a degree or vocational school hours are a plus
• Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
