Customer Service Representative - YMCA Men's Residence

As a Customer Service Representative at the YMCA Men’s Residence, you’re the steady, friendly presence that keeps the front desk running smoothly and the building feeling safe and welcoming. This part-time, onsite role (Arthur J. Glatfelter YMCA, 90 N Newberry St, York) works rotating shifts—days, evenings, weekends, and holidays—at $10.00–$11.00/hour.

Key responsibilities include greeting and assisting residents/visitors, answering and routing calls on a multi-line phone system, taking rental payments with accurate ledger/receipt records, shift-to-shift handoff notes, key distribution/collection, sorting mail, monitoring security cameras, keeping the workstation orderly, and following emergency procedures when needed.

Required skills/qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills
- Customer service and cash-handling accuracy; recordkeeping attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office/Google Workspace)
- Ability to multitask calmly and consistently
