Operations Leader

Position Summary

The Plant / Facility Operations Leader supports the Manager and helps coordinate daily production activities, facility upkeep, inventory, and shipping and receiving at Pizza Manufacturing LLC’s pizza dough and par-baked crust manufacturing facility in Leesburg, GA. This role helps maintain efficient operations, consistent product quality, a safe and sanitary work environment, and compliance with applicable food-safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support: Assist the Manager with daily production activities involving par-baked crusts and frozen dough balls. Help keep production organized and maintain consistent product quality.

Facility Upkeep: Help monitor the condition of the facility and report maintenance needs. Assist with coordinating repairs and communicating facility issues to the Manager.

Food Safety and Sanitation: Follow established food-safety, sanitation, and quality procedures. Help maintain accurate records and keep work areas clean and orderly.

Inventory and Materials: Assist with monitoring raw materials and packaging supplies, organizing inventory, staging pallets, and supporting shipping and receiving. Help verify bills of lading and purchase orders as assigned.

Team Support: Help support production staff with daily priorities, training, scheduling coordination, punctuality, and safe work practices.

General Operations: Complete other related duties as assigned to support the Manager and the efficient operation of the facility.

Qualifications

Experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or facility support is preferred.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred; HACCP, ServSafe, or SQF knowledge or certification is a plus.

Ability to learn and follow procedures for production equipment, freezers, packaging machinery, and material handling.

Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a dependable, punctual work record.
