Material Handler - Manufacturing
Location: Irving, TX
Shift: 5:00am to 2:30pm | Monday - Friday + Overtime
Pay Rate: $16.00–$18.00/hour
Job Overview: A leading packaging and manufacturing company is hiring a Material Handler for its Irving, Texas operation. This position is responsible for supporting daily production by moving, staging, loading, and organizing materials throughout the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. Sit-down forklift experience is a plus, but candidates who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
Schedule:- Monday–Friday: 5:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Saturday overtime as needed
- Full-time position
- Overtime opportunities available
- Move and stage materials throughout the production and warehouse areas.
- Supply production employees with the materials needed to maintain workflow.
- Load, unload, organize, and properly stage materials and finished products.
- Operate a sit-down forklift when qualified and trained.
- Safely use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and moving inventory.
- Maintain accurate material counts and help keep products organized.
- Follow production schedules and instructions to support daily manufacturing goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material-handling environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Ability to lift 45+lbs of material onto machines
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to work a 5:00 AM start time and Monday–Friday schedule.
- Must be available for Saturday overtime when needed.
- Sit-down forklift experience is helpful; willingness to learn and train will be considered.
- Ability to follow instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and E-Verify.
