GPS Jobs is currently hiring a skilled Rewinder Machine Operator for a local company in Orangeburg, SC.
This position is responsible for operating a converting rewinder that cuts large paper rolls into finished products according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

What You Will Do
- Operate a converting rewinder machine to process large paper rolls into finished rolls
- Set up and thread paper through rollers, tension controls, and winding equipment
- Monitor machine speed, tension, and product quality throughout production runs
- Inspect material for defects and ensure finished rolls meet customer specifications
- Load and unload paper rolls and prepare finished products for shipment
- Complete production records and perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
What You Will Need
- Previous rewinder machine operating experience is required
- Experience working with paper rolls, paper converting, printing, or manufacturing environments required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Attention to detail when measuring, inspecting, and verifying product specifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with a forward-thinking approach
