Physical Therapist Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. The role offers a variable lunch period of 30 to 60 minutes, along with flexible start times of either 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic activities and exercise programs to patients.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and health maintenance.
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required (for those licensed on or after January 2016) or a foreign equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience is preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required per organizational policy.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in the EPIC electronic health record system is essential.
This position does not require any on-call duties or weekend work. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
