Job Summary (List Format):
- Implements plan of care as provided by the physical therapist for patients of all ages.
- Serves as a role model in delivering professional services.
- Acts as a clinical resource for staff and students.
- Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.
- Follows and adjusts the therapist’s plan of care as necessary, with proper communication and documentation.
- Delivers treatment interventions, such as therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and ultrasound.
- Administers electrical stimulation treatments and provides aquatic therapy.
- Completes documentation in accordance with clinical policies and therapy EMR requirements.
- Coordinates with the physical therapist and communicates with referring providers about patient progress and treatment recommendations.
- Completes annual education to comply with specific program requirements, if applicable.
- Requires at least one (1) year of relevant experience.
Med Ninjas Job ID #17250. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
