Machine Operator

Location: Cockeysville, MD (Hunt Valley area)
Type: Temp-to-hire (W2)
Pay: $21.50/hr
Shift: 1st Shift — Mon–Thur, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Interview: In-person
Requirement: Safety shoes required

Training / Onboarding Expectations

• Training period: Must be able to work Mon–Thur 6:00 AM–4:30 PM for the first 3 months
• Onboarding: 1 week, Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (attendance required)

What You’ll Do

• Set up, operate, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform operator-level maintenance on highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment
• Inspect in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and remove defective materials
• Support root-cause analysis for process/product exceptions
• Complete accurate documentation for quality, safety, and maintenance (GMP environment)
• Work with gauges/jigs/fixtures to verify measurements and tolerances
• Provide support to leads/supervisors, assist with training/onboarding, and support special projects as needed
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet business demands

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years manufacturing experience (food, pharma, industrial), including experience in a regulated (FDA) environment
  or AA/Technical degree plus 2 years experience
• Strong attention to detail; dependable/punctual
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
• Proficient English (read/write), basic math, able to interpret charts/diagrams
