CNC PROGRAMMER

Job Description

• Work on machines to develop program per technical sheet.
• Work to improve processes via better machine feed, speeds and cutting tool applications.
• Maintain CNC library with revision control.
• Able to read codes and blueprints in choosing the proper tools.
• Update CNC programs and manufacturing processes to help optimize machining lead times.
• Maintain continuity between two work shifts by communicating requirements, documenting irregularities and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Provide support to CNC Operators
• Assist in the development of operations and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the CNC machining work cell.
• Improves manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience in operating CNC machines
• 3-5 years’ experience in programming CNC machines
• Knowledge of gear and splines a plus
• CAD Experience required
• CAM Experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining methodology
• Aerospace product knowledge a plus
• Education - College degree or equivalent a plus
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
