Deck Builder

Position Overview:

We are hiring for skilled Custom Deck Builders to join our growing outdoor living team. We are looking for someone motivated who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional, efficient crew.

We’re Hiring:

• Lead Carpenter / Crew Leader
• Skilled Laborer / Carpenter’s Helper

Responsibilities

• Framing and building custom decks (wood & composite)
• Installing Trex and other composite decking systems
• Railing systems, stairs, fascia, skirting, lighting
• Pergolas, roof structures, and outdoor living features
• Reading plans and working from layout measurements
• Maintaining a clean and safe job site
• Communicating clearly with crew and homeowners

Qualifications

This position requires reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates should also be able to lift 80 lbs or more repeatedly.

• 3+ years deck building or carpentry experience (more for lead positions)
• Strong knowledge of basic carpentry practices
• Ability to use power tools safely and efficiently
• Reliable transportation

Lead Carpenter Requirements:

• 3+ years deck construction experience
• Ability to manage a small crew
• Can read plans and handle material lists
• Problem-solver on site

Pay Range: $25.–$40./hour depending on experience and role.
