Wellhead Field Service Technician

The Wellhead Field Service Technician services surface wellheads and multiple wellhead systems through scheduled maintenance, emergency callouts, inspection and repair projects, and installation and commissioning assignments. Reporting to a field supervisor, the technician works independently and as part of a multi-technician crew while traveling locally and regionally to support safe, reliable field operations.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission surface wellheads and multiple wellhead systems.
• Inspect wellhead equipment and identify service requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Conduct pressure testing and verify equipment integrity.
• Service and maintain valves.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete field repairs.
• Respond to emergency callouts and support inspection and repair projects.
• Follow worksite safety procedures and complete accurate service reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in wellhead field service.
• Technical diploma in mechanical, oil and gas, or a related field.
• Well control certification.
• Experience with wellhead equipment and pressure testing.
• Knowledge of valve maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Understanding of industrial safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
