CNC Drill Line Operator

Operate a Peddinghaus CNC drill line processing structural steel as part of a small machining team. This role is responsible for accurate machine operation, material handling, quality control, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Peddinghaus drill line for structural steel production.
• Load programs and verify machine settings before production runs.
• Position and secure materials accurately for drilling operations.
• Perform tool changes and monitor tooling condition.
• Read blueprints and interpret drilling requirements.
• Inspect completed work using appropriate quality standards and precision measurements.
• Track production activity and report issues to the machining team.
• Perform equipment maintenance and follow all safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• Technical training in CNC machining or manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machine operation and programming.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of precision measurement and preventive maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
