Health Insurance Agent

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Health Insurance Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and comfortable assisting clients with understanding and enrolling in health insurance plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals and families with health insurance enrollment.
• Explain available health plan options, benefits, premiums, and coverage.
• Complete client applications and enrollments accurately.
• Follow up with prospective clients and leads.
• Maintain accurate client and enrollment records.
• Assist existing clients with enrollment-related questions and updates.
• Meet established weekly and monthly enrollment goals.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Follow company procedures and applicable insurance regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed Health Insurance Agent with an active license in good standing.
• Previous experience working for a health insurance agency or company is required.
• ACA/Marketplace health insurance sales and enrollment experience is required.
• Knowledge of health insurance enrollment procedures, eligibility requirements, and plan options.
• Proven experience working with leads and successfully completing enrollments.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in a goal-driven, performance-based environment.
• Strong computer skills and experience using enrollment platforms and CRM systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole is a plus.
