Immediate hire part time

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced vehicle services environment. Duties include answering incoming phone calls during business hours from the office and after-hours from home, and creating and managing calls within company software.

Additional responsibilities include assisting customers at the service window with matters related to impounded and towed vehicles, handling U-Haul reservations, rentals, and returns, and safely connecting U-Haul trailers for customers. The candidate will also be responsible for checking in and conducting safety inspections of U-Haul equipment.

This position requires meeting the needs of all customers who visit or contact the business, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor, taking messages, returning calls, and performing general administrative and clerical duties as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, be comfortable working independently, and be committed to providing outstanding customer service.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn company software
• Reliable and dependable with the ability to answer after-hours calls from home
• Ability to safely connect and inspect U-Haul trailers and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a criminal background history check
• Must pass a drug test
• Must have or be able to obtain a TDLR VSF Employee License (may be applied for after hire)
• No high school diploma or GED required

This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering exceptional service to our towing, storage, and U-Haul customers.
