CORROSION TECHNICIAN

New-Hart Services, A Division of Alamo Transformer Supply Company, specializes in painting, repairs, and maintenance of high voltage substation equipment. New-Hart services has a wide variety of clients in numerous industries such as: Refineries, Chemical Plants, Power Generation Facilities, Steel Mills, Mining Companies, Utility Companies, and Universities.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Responsible for hand prepping and coating transformers
• Blast and coat CSL
• Prepare and coat electrical equipment
• Some metal repairs
• Other duties related to job as assigned
• Out of town/overnight travel with crew required, estimated 3-4 nights per week, but turn around work requires 13 days straight (with overtime)
• Per Diem included for overnight travel
• Must be able to pass NASAP, DCCHT and DCCOF DISA drug tests.

EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid TWIC Card
• Must be able to pass DISA drug tests and DISA background check
• must be able to pass quarterly strand test

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Related experience, preferred, but not required

JOB TYPE & PAY

• Full-time position
• Pay starting at $20/hour
