On Call Direct Support Professional DSP As Needed

Position Overview

Seeking a dependable, flexible, and compassionate On-Call Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide backup coverage when regularly scheduled staff members are unavailable.

This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed full-time or part-time hours. The selected candidate will be contacted when coverage is needed due to employee call-outs, absences, or other unexpected staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide reliable coverage for scheduled shifts when regular staff members are unavailable.

● Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, routines, and other authorized support needs.

● Follow individualized support plans and agency policies.

● Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered support.

● Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication.

● Respond to requests for shift coverage based on availability.

Qualifications

● Dependable, responsible, and punctual.

● Flexible and willing to accept available shifts on short notice.

● Previous caregiving or direct support experience preferred.

● Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.

● Must meet all applicable agency hiring requirements.

Schedule and Employment Type

● On-call, as-needed employment.

Compensation
