Agricultural Machine Operator

Key Job Duties

In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of packaging and milling lines by monitoring equipment and maintaining product quality. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Production Maintenance: Maintain the facility's rice dryers, monitor moving conveyor belts, and repackage rice materials.
• Packaging Operations: Safely operate a heat sealer or industrial sewing machine to secure packaged grain products.
• Quality & Verification: Test and weigh filled bags to ensure the exact, correct amount of product is distributed.
• Detail Inspection: Conduct frequent, routine checks on bags to verify that all packages feature accurate date codes and meet quality standards.
• Line Feeding: Feed filled bags efficiently and safely into processing and sealing machinery.
• Workspace Care: Utilize downtime productively to sweep, clean, and organize your work area to maintain a safe, hazard-free environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience working in a production, warehouse, manufacturing, or agricultural setting is highly preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot error codes, incorrect weights, or missing date codes quickly.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive lifting, and work comfortably in a fast-paced grain processing facility.
• Reliability: A strong work ethic with a history of excellent attendance and punctuality for your selected shift.
