Receptionist

The Receptionist reports to the Office Manager and serves as the welcoming first point of contact for clients, customers, and pets. This role manages front-desk operations, coordinates appointments, maintains records, and delivers professional customer service using appointment scheduling software, shared email and calendar tools, and a multi-line phone system. This position is part-time, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am - 4pm and Fridays 8:30am - 12pm.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk reception and welcome clients, customers, and pets.
• Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system.
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
• Use shared email and calendar tools to coordinate information.
• Complete accurate data entry and maintain records.
• Prepare medical charts for the next day
• Provide professional, courteous customer service.
• Additional duties as requested

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of front desk experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service skills.
• Professional communication skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
