CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist (Entry-Level)
Location: Broussard, LA (Onsite)
Pay: $16–$19/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Day Shift (typically 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm)
Type: Temp-to-Perm | Hours: 40/week | Openings: 2

Grow your machining career in a precision manufacturing environment. We’re hiring an entry-level CNC Lathe Machinist to help produce small-to-medium machined components (such as flanges and fittings). This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of machining/CNC experience who’s eager to learn and advance.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes using setup sheets, work instructions, and blueprints
• Load/unload materials and parts safely and efficiently
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality
• Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges)
• Make minor adjustments and tool offset changes to maintain part quality
• Complete secondary tasks as needed (deburr, tap, polish)
• Accurately complete production/inspection documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, safety-first work area and follow quality procedures

• High school diploma/GED required (technical/vocational machining training preferred)
• 1–2 years CNC machining experience (CNC lathe preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T
• Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance
