Commercial Refrigeration Techinician

We are seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Technician to service and maintain walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in cases and merchandisers, ice machines, beverage systems, and a mixed portfolio of commercial refrigeration equipment. Reporting to a service manager and working independently with dispatcher support, this role serves a local territory and participates in a scheduled rotating on-call program.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in cases, merchandisers, ice machines, and beverage systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system diagnostics across a mixed equipment portfolio.
• Handle refrigerants and complete refrigerant recovery activities in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Repair compressors and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Calibrate controls and diagnose HVAC/R control issues.
• Provide emergency service during scheduled rotating on-call shifts.
• Maintain safety compliance while performing service at customer sites.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate in commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC/R diagnostics, refrigerant recovery, electrical troubleshooting, brazing and soldering, HVAC controls, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
