Job Description

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely entry into the accounting system.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, site personnel, and other departments to ensure timely invoice processing and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, and matching issues.
• Process new vendor setups and vendor information updates, ensuring accurate and complete records.
• Monitor monthly Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) balances and coordinate with site personnel to maintain accurate data across AP and Procurement modules.
• Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve outstanding invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Provide backup support for other Accounts Payable team members during absences and periods of increased workload.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with weekly payment runs as needed, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of Accounts Payable experience, including three-way invoice matching.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, Purchasing, and internal stakeholders.
