Energy Project Manager

Project Manager – Commercial HVAC / Energy Efficiency. 

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong commercial HVAC background to manage energy-efficiency and construction projects from start to finish.

Projects typically range from $300K–$1M and involve commercial HVAC, boilers, chillers, lighting, controls, building automation, solar, and other energy-efficiency solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through completion and closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate clients, subcontractors, vendors, utilities, engineers, and internal teams
• Manage subcontractor schedules and project resources
• Lead project meetings and provide regular project updates
• Track budgets, costs, forecasts, change orders, and billing
• Maintain RFI and submittal logs
• Monitor project progress, deadlines, and potential risks
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries
• Support final walkthroughs and project closeout
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contract requirements

Requirements

• Commercial HVAC experience
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Experience with energy-efficiency, utility, construction, or mechanical projects
• Experience managing projects in the $300K–$1M range
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills
• Strong client and subcontractor management experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of commercial HVAC systems and energy-efficiency projects
