BEPC is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to support our client's distribution operations in Avon, Indiana.

In this role, you'll prepare customer orders, process shipments, label packages, and help keep warehouse operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately store and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, prepare, and process customer orders for shipment.
• Label, meter, and prepare packages using various freight and shipping systems.
• Process shipping orders using the client's ERP system.
• Verify order accuracy and follow established shipping procedures.
• Prepare materials and work areas for the following day's shipping activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow applicable Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures.
• Support warehouse productivity, quality, and operational goals.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and established warehouse procedures.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work the full Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule.
• Ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Preferred

• Previous warehouse, shipping, packing, or distribution experience.
• Familiarity with shipping labels, freight systems, or package processing.
• Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Workplace & Dress Code

Employees must follow warehouse safety and dress requirements, including:

• Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required.
• Shorts, tank tops, and cutoff shirts are not permitted.
• Hats are prohibited; sweatshirt hoods must remain down.
• Clothing with offensive images or language is not permitted.
• Sunglasses are not allowed on the distribution center floor.
• Pants must be worn at waist level.
