Fiber Line Associate

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Tupelo, MS area is seeking Fiber Machine Operator to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Fiber Line Job Summary:

· Pay: $13.52 per hour

· Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday from 6am- 3pm 

• Operate fiber opening, blending, filling, and processing machinery according to production schedules.
• Set up machines and make adjustments to ensure proper fiber flow and product specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify mechanical issues or material defects.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Load raw fiber materials into production equipment.
• Record production data, machine settings, and material usage.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Assist with material handling, including moving fiber bales and finished products.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience in foam, fiber, textile, bedding, or furniture manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders and production specifications.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
