CDL Driver

Staffworks Group is hiring experienced CDL Class Drivers for a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Johnston, Rhode Island, with local routes. If you're looking for a stable driving career with competitive pay, excellent benefits we want to hear from you!

$26.00–$28.00 per hour

If you have CDL A, flatbed, and Moffett delivery experience, we’d like to hear from you.

CDL Driver Responsibilities

• Safely transport freight throughout the Rhode Island area
• Local/regional deliveries
• 48-foot flatbed trailer
• Moffett forklift deliveries at customer locations
• Home regularly
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Must be comfortable operating a tractor-trailer in residential and commercial delivery locations
• Driver is responsible for safely loading/unloading and placing material with the Moffett

CDL Class A Driver Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
• Flatbed experience preferred
• Moffett/forklift experience strongly preferred
• Good driving record
• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable dealing with customers
• Ability to properly secure loads and perform daily equipment inspections
