Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $48–$56/hour, based on experience

Pay Schedule: Biweekly Earning Potential: $100,000–$125,000 annually, including potential bonuses

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in San Juan Capistrano, CA, for an established independent automotive repair shop.

Earn $48–$56/hour in base pay, plus the opportunity to earn performance bonuses, with estimated total annual earnings of $100,000–$125,000 based on the shop's pay plan.

Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, consistent vehicle volume, ongoing technical training, and the opportunity to mentor other technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced automotive electrical, mechanical, and drivability diagnostics.

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns independently.

• Perform vehicle programming and advanced diagnostic troubleshooting.

• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) using Tekmetric.

• Diagnose and repair a variety of Asian and Domestic vehicles.

• Mentor and assist other technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and technical challenges.

• Maintain high standards for repair quality, accuracy, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven A-Level automotive repair experience with advanced diagnostic capabilities.

• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and drivability diagnostics.

• Experience performing vehicle programming and complex troubleshooting.

• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle makes and models.

• Experience using Tekmetric or similar Digital Vehicle Inspection software.

• Ability to work independently while providing technical guidance to other technicians.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated commitment to quality repairs.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

• Base Pay: $48–$56 per hour, based on experience.

• Performance Bonus: Additional earning opportunities through the shop's hybrid hourly-plus-bonus compensation plan.

• Estimated Annual Earnings: $100,000–$125,000, including potential performance bonuses. Actual earnings depend on the applicable bonus structure and individual performance and are not guaranteed.
