Machine Operator - Now Hiring

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production team supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow standard work instructions, and the drive to maintain quality through accurate documentation.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Columbus, NE 68601

Pay Range: $20 per hour

Shift: 6:00PM-6:00AM , 12 hr Rotating Shifts First week is 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, Second week is 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

What's the Job?

• Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization).
• Work effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Make effective decisions relative to position requirements while following instructions and standard practices.
• Work under direct supervision using standard operating procedures and communicate clearly with co-workers and the Team Lead/Supervisor.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED is REQUIRED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is REQUIRED.
• One to two years' experience; candidates with previous work experience in a manufacturing environment will have first preference.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis; willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
