General Laborer- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP

Location: Harrisburg, SD

Pay: $17-$20/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 4:30 pm

Join our dynamic team at a large manufacturer specializing in custom cabinets. Start your journey in the trim department with opportunities to move to other departments and advance your career. You will spend your day across four different departments, each offering unique challenges and opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Cut finished and specialized panels.
• Detect malfunctions, inspect parts, adjust controls, and replace blades.
• Prepare machines for production, clean and maintain equipment, tooling, and parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in production, general labor, construction, or carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
• Experience with saw operations and woodworking.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of previous work experience.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Pass the tape measure test.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep up with training.

Work Environment:

Work in a large manufacturing facility with around 300 employees. Some areas may be loud, but safety glasses and ear buds are provided. Dress code requires closed-toed shoes and clothing without offensive graphics.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, SD.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
